Q. I’m a New Client. How do I book an appointment?
A. Please fill out the New Client consultation form to help me better understand your hair goals and expectations. This form will be sent to you directly after booking your first appointment and must be filled out the same day as the requested appointment. I'm very detail-oriented and I strive to give you the best service possible. We will go over these questions in person if a consultation appointment is needed so we can create the best possible game plan to achieve your dream hair, review all risks involved, outline what you can expect at your appointment, and map out our beauty budget. By the time you leave, I want you to feel confident in the plan we come up with for your hair. Don't stress about your answers, this is not a test and they don't have to be perfect. Once you have submitted your form, I will contact you if there are any changes we need to make regarding the appointment requested or if an in person consultation is needed.
Q. When's the best time to wash my hair before my color service? Leave it unwashed or wash it?
A. No more than 3 days unwashed if at all possible. Freshly washed the day of or the day before is best. This allows for an even lift and saturation for color services. If you worked out or went to the beach/pool, have excessive product in, etc… please come with clean hair.
If you're questioning it, then you may want to wash it.
Q. What if I can't find an appointment spot that works for me?
A. There is a “Waitlist” option on my booking site. You can be on the waitlist while also having an appointment made, so feel free to do both so I know you want a sooner time. My online calendar opens up 8 weeks in advance and I post last-minute availability on my Instagram and Facebook stories.
Q. How do I reschedule my appointment?
A. To reschedule your hair appointment, simply visit my booking site and request a new appointment time.
Q. Are there any color services that aren’t offered?
A. At our salon, we are dedicated to offering specialized hair coloring services that are tailored to your individual needs and preferences. We utilize specific techniques to create stunning and customized looks that enhance your natural beauty. While we do not provide services such as global blonding and vivid/fashion colors, our focus is on delivering exceptional results that highlight and complement your unique style.
Q. How long will I be in your chair?
A. Each service has a specific time frame to perform. I have all of my services listed with the general time you will be at the salon.
Q. What happens if I am late for my appointment?
A. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you might be required to reschedule or forfeit a part of your service. In case rescheduling is required, a 50% cancellation fee will applied and will need to be paid prior to booking your next appointment.
Q. What should I do if I'm not happy with my services?
A. If you are unhappy with your services I ask that you let me know within seven days. I always do what I can to make my guests happy and when someone isn't I will do what it takes to better the situation. That being said - if we do not achieve the desired final result in one session when we have discussed in the consultation that it will require multiple sessions, then that would not constitute an adjustment. Again, if there is an issue I am always willing to make it right and leave you completely confident in your hair!
In the event that we have successfully achieve your desired look, but you find it doesn't suit you as expected, a new service will be arranged to alter the outcome. Kindly be aware that there will be applicable service fees for this additional service.
Q. Are children allowed to come during my appointment?
A. We're happy to welcome children to your salon appointments when accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, please note that while we create a safe environment, accidents can happen. In the event of any breakage or mishap, the guardian is responsible. For a more peaceful and relaxing experience, we recommend considering a child-free visit, allowing you to fully enjoy your time alone and enjoy a much needed “me-time” session.
Q. How much is it for extensions?
A. Pricing depends on your specific hair history and overall goal. Whether you want fullness, length, or the best of both, I like to do an in-person consultation where I can see your hair before I can give an estimate. We will also go over what maintaining your desired look will cost and how often you will need upkeep.
Q. What kind of extensions do you use?
A. I use several different brands of extensions while also offering several different install methods. I try to choose the one that fits your hair and hair goal the best. There is no “one size fits all” for extensions. Each extension install is customized to your needs. If you are requesting a certain extension brand to be used, please make this request by messaging me with all the details. There is NO guarantee with extensions under any circumstance. EVERY extension appointment requires a consultation.
